About Elora’s Canvas

Hi, I’m Miriam!

I’m 22 years old, a wife, a mama to two precious little girls, and the heart behind Elora’s Canvas.

My love for needlepoint started when I was only eight years old, when I was introduced to it by a friend’s grandmother. I loved the process of watching a canvas slowly come to life, one stitch at a time. As I got older, I eventually fell out of touch with needlepoint for a while, but about two years ago, I picked it back up—and completely fell in love with stitching all over again.

I’ve always had a creative side, so it wasn’t long before I started imagining designs I wanted to stitch myself. I found myself looking for canvases that felt a little more like me—fresh, fun, meaningful, and inspired by the things I actually loved—and sometimes I simply couldn’t find what I had pictured.

Eventually I realized: if I couldn’t find it, maybe I could create it.

That idea became Elora’s Canvas. What started as me creating the kinds of designs I personally wanted to stitch slowly turned into something I wanted to share with others, just in case there were other stitchers out there looking for those same kinds of pieces too.

The name Elora’s Canvas is especially close to my heart. Elora is my second daughter’s middle name, so having her name tied to this little business makes it feel even more personal. Motherhood is such a huge part of who I am, and I love that a piece of my family is woven into the brand itself.

Today, I love creating canvases inspired by everyday life, motherhood, faith, celebrations, humor, nostalgia, and all the little moments worth remembering. My hope is to create pieces that feel exciting to stitch but also meaningful enough to keep, display, gift, and pass down.

One of my favorite parts of this business is knowing that something that started as an idea in my head can eventually become a finished piece in someone else’s home.

Thank you for being here, supporting Elora’s Canvas, and allowing me to share a little piece of my creativity and my family with you. I’m so happy you’re here. ♡
